It is considered one of the best tourist destinations in the world due to its geographical location in the heart of the Mediterranean. Most tourists visiting the area come from Europe. Another key advantage of the northern region is its reliance on the Turkish economy, particularly in terms of currency circulation. The primary currency in use is the Turkish lira, but other well-known international currencies, such as the U.S. dollar, the euro, and the British pound, are also widely used in transactions within this geographical area in the northern part.
